In its role as a research institution and as the Secretariat of the International Partnership for the Satoyama Initiative (IPSI), UNU-IAS ISI publishes a series titled the “Satoyama Initiative Thematic Review”, based on the collected IPSI Case Studies. Each year’s publication brings together case studies around a common theme, together with a synthesis paper. This publication is carried out in collaboration with the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES).
